So I’ve been back to the “painting board”, and I have a new friend joining me. First let me give you a little history on my new buddy.
A few months ago my husband and I went out on a whim and found a black cat at the humane society that won over our hearts. Correction, he won over my husbands heart. Our newest member, Grizzwald, has driven me INSANE since we brought him home. Being a dog person myself I have had some interesting times adjusting to an animal that waits for you to pass just to attack any part of you, jump on your feet, attack a toe if one pops out, jump in the bathtub after sneaking through your door, tripping you on a daily basis making it a close call each time, and lastly tormenting our 6 year old yorkshire terrior who can’t seem to move without a black cat on her back. The list can go on. Even as I type this he is attacking our yellow lab, who is deathly afraid of him. Ahhh, I just sprayed him with the water bottle, I feel better now.
WELL, long story short…this cat is relentless. I did not think I would find common ground with him until the day he clawed his way up my chair in my art room and perched his tiny bum on my shoulder. He stared at my artwork like a curious parrot perched on his pirate master’s shoulder. So I looked up at him, he back down at me, and I knew at that moment he would be my art kitty. Ever since he has sat on my lap, and even on my shoulder (while he still fits) as I paint. He trills his tiny little voice as if he’s sharing an opinion. But mostly he likes to watch me dip my paint brush into the thick mixture of oils and spread it onto the canvas in front of us. He is my little second eye, and my buddy. One day I will get a picture of him looking over my shoulder, it is quit the site. But for now, please enjoy this shot of him enjoying this story. He must have heard his name as I clicked it out on the pad because he jumped up on my left arm and is currently fast asleep. Here is a picture my husband just snapped of the two of us blogging. Love to all and goodnight!

Very cute! I have a cat that looks and acts very similar at my mom’s home… I miss her dearly. Unfortunately she’s not very good with little kids, so she doesn’t live with me anymore.
